Edit Workflows

Learn how to edit an existing workflow

Editing Workflows

Adjusting an existing workflow in Flomenco is straightforward. If you have a workflow in production we recommend making a duplicate to ensure ongoing workflows remain unaffected. Once the copy is made, you can edit various elements and nodes with ease before deciding to implement the changes.

  • Open WorkFlo Tab
  • Click on the workflow you want to edit
  • If the workflow is in use, duplicate it before making changes
  • Edit the nodes as needed
  • Rearrange the nodes if required
  • Activate the changes when ready

Duplicating Workflows

When you need to make changes to an active workflow, it's smart to keep it safe. The best way to do this is by making a duplicate before you start editing. This approach ensures that your live settings aren't accidentally changed or disrupted.

Here's how you can do it: Go to the Workflow tab and find the workflow you want to edit. Then, click the three dots next to the workflow's name. Choose the Duplicate option from the menu. This will create a copy of your workflow, which you can then freely edit, move nodes around, or update as needed, without affecting the original, live version. As before, set the workflow status to 'Active' to go live into production.
